The Start of the Beginning: The Start of a New Beginning...

In the past five months or so I have gone through so many different changes. I graduated college, I moved out (well partially) of my college apartment and into Manayunk with my best friend, Kimmie, from high school, I broke up with my on-off boyfriend of four years, I started working full time, and I quit my serving job of two years. Needless to say I feel as though my world has been turned up side down and everything I was familiar and comfortable with changed. And with all of these changes I have found myself going through a whirl spin of emotions, most good but some definitely bad. So with this trend of endings, there also comes new beginnings, beginnings that are exciting and frightening and nerve wrecking and crazy and stupid and wild and safe and .. well you get the idea. So I decided that I wanted to document my journey through my new beginning of life - my twenties, when I am (or supposed to be) young, beautiful, fabulous, and carefree. I've never been good at keeping diaries or blogs before but I feel as though this is different. For me this is a sign of my road to happiness with myself and my life. I think the real driving force behind this blog is that with my recent break up I don't feel happy or content with how that relationship affected me. And I desperately want back my independence, my happiness, and just myself. It was a very tough relationship on me that really only ever ended in me getting hurt in ways that I will never be able to put into words.

So I'll begin my new beginning by posting about where I am, where I want to be and my journey of how I'll get there. It includes my personal appearance, putting together my new apartment, my job accomplishments or failures and what happens along the way of me finding myself again.

Today is day 1 of my new beginning of my journey of finding myself, love, and happiness.
